Abstract

Abstract. The paper presents the results of research on macro and microscopic parameters of ejaculate dogs for chronic prostatitis. It has been established that chronic prostatitis in dogs is characterized by changes in quality indicators of sperm in all phases of the ejaculate, which are associated with dysfunction of the prostate and admixture of the inflammatory reaction products to the semen fluid. Along with proinflammatory cytosis, in semen of dogs with prostatitis, desquamated epithelial cells, lump-like coagulation inclusions, and decreased in the field of view of lecithin grains, as well as mixed microflora, are detected.
