Abstract. The article discusses the effectiveness of keeping laying hens in conditions of organic farming. The list of factors that directly affect poultry productivity under these conditions is given. The use of prophylactic preparations on the basis of probiotic microorganisms Lactobacillus plantarum and postbiotic "Bacteriosan" – a development of the Department of hygiene and sanitation named after A.K. Skorokhodko employees was proposed. In certified organic farming, in laying hens the following parameters were studied: live body mass, egg laying intensity, weight of egg and its components (protein and yolk), shell thickness. The analysis and interpretation of the obtained experimental data proved a positive effect of both these preparations in comparison with the control, however, the preparationpostbiotic "Bacteriosan" has shown a better effect.

Keywords: organic eggs, laying hens, productivity, egg weight, protein, yolk, shell
