Abstract

The article focuses on important and current issues of forming an environment in a small area using complex terrain. The research object is a private sector located in the village of Gorbovichi in the Kiev-Svyatoshinsky District and has a height difference of over 40%. The authors of the article emphasize that the terrain is one of the stable components of the landscape, which is why other landscape components are its derivatives. When arranging landscaping on difficult terrain, the key role is played by the formation of space through vertical planning of the territory. The building is constructed in the style of minimalism with elements of constructivism, the main building materials are concrete, ceramic brick and glass. It is suggested to construct the composition of the slope object on a network of roads, which are spiral or serpentine. It was also noted that it is advisable to delay the “emotional discharge” effect on the projected viewing platforms and to hold a compositional pause. The main feature of designing such a garden object is the frontality of its composition. The inclined plane organizes and determines the whole system of visual communications – the view moves from the upper terraces to the lower and further to the foot of the slope. As a result, the main compositional task of designing an object on topography is to identify the spatial structure of the slope, which often boils down to the formation of a system of terraces, that is, alternation of elevations and flat stages of topography.
