Abstract

The paper presents the results of the ecological analysis of species composition of newly created lawn from plants varieties of Ukrainian breeding on the territory of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. It is determinated that habitats of dominant lawn species characterized by conditions of insufficient, uneven moisture rich salt content, neutral pH reaction substrate and sufficient stock of available nitrogen, marked characteristic of northern forest steppe ecotypes, including gray soils of Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv.
