Modeling and measurement torque and power in transmission rotary wood chipper

Simulation and measurement of torque, mechanical stress and power occurs in most transmissions of technological and transport machines. The importance of this problem is considerably increasing in terms of unsteady loads (random, impulsive, alternating etc.). The control of angular speed, especially – torque and power – allows you to control technological machines from the overload and register the real record of their exploitation. The specific role of these systems consists in test drives and transmissions, in the study of the limit load capacity, in the exploration of dynamic parameters and efficiency of transmissions, gearboxes, reducing gears, fans, pumps. Automation of bolted joints assembly, control of mounting bearings, control of the crank-link and crank-rocker mechanisms and transporters also require experimental measurements of angular speed, torque and power.References
