Professional stress of beginning psychologists

Abstract

In this article discusses the importance of studying stress and its concept. The stages and their consequences of stress are reflected according to H. Selye. The definition of occupational stress. The main factors and components of occupational stress of novice psychologists are analysed. The definition of occupational stress and syndrome of stress is given. The opinion of scientists is reflected on nature and factors due to which it arises. Stress and its manifestations. In detail stress is considered it is informative, communicative and emotional, according to scientists of their forming, manifestations and consequences. The main features of competence and professionalism of psychologists are analysed. The features of informative, of communication and informative stress are described in professional activity of psychologist. Describes the factors that cause the transformation of chronic stress into burnout that is considered in the works of scientists. The problem of finding out the factors of stress development and regulating its level is considered. Professional stressors and their factors are described in detailed. Focused attention on that occupational stress in psychologists can become a serious threat for successful development of professional activity, and sometimes to the health too. Conclusions are made about occupational stress and influence on work of psychologist.
