Abstract
In Ukraine ostricheship is no longer new
sub-branch of poultry farming. These are the largest in the world
birds, even though they are natives
from Africa, have already adapted well to ours
climatic conditions. They transfer normally
as high ambient air temperature
medium and low - minus 20-25 ° C.
And see the ostriches in winter in the snow-covered
aviaries - not surprising. As evidenced by the perennial
experience of many Ukrainian farmers, ostrich farming,
for reasonable management, can become
highly profitable business. Because of ostriches
you can get meat, skin, fat, feathers, eggs and
even the eyelashes and claws of these birds are appreciated. And so, we are
have decided to include a separate one in our magazine
the heading "Ostriches", in which periodically
we will publish articles on features
keeping, feeding, ostrich breeding and more
