Justification of the regimes of artificial insemination of Birkovsky meat-andlaying hens

The effect of different modes of semen sampling in cocks and artificial insemination of Birkowski was studied
meat and egg chickens for quality semen, fertilization, hatching and hatching,
labor costs. Used semen sampling modes in cocks: 1st - 5 times a week, one at a time
ejaculate a day with two days of rest; 2nd - 3 times a week, every other day, one ejaculate per
day; 3rd - 3 times a week, every other day, two ejaculates per day with a 40-minute interval. Chickens
inseminated: 1 group - throughout the retention period once in 7 days; Group 2 - first 3 months - one
every 7 days, last 2 months - once every 5 days; Group 3 - once throughout the retention period
in 5 days. It is established that the 1st mode of semen selection in cocks allows to get 1.75 times more
sperm count than 2nd mode and 1.21 times more than 3rd mode. At the same time, the highest fertilization
eggs and hatching were noted when using the last roosting regimen.
Fertilization of eggs and hatching improved with increasing artificial insemination rates
chickens. At 5-day insemination rates, these rates were, respectively, 3.2 and 2.6% higher than
at multiplicity of insemination once in seven days. The average duration of artificial insemination of one chicken
Birk's meat-and-egg population is 27.7 seconds. Insemination mode: early breeding
of the season - once every 7 days and then once every five days - provided some increase in fertilization and
hatching eggs at the end of the breeding season
