Goal of the work is studying efficiency of “SOMI VET” drug application for prevention of poultry bronchopulmonary diseases and increasing of its preservation. Materials and methods. Formula of the drug is composed according to “Aurveda” principles. Clinical trials were held in farm conditions on laying hens young of “Hy-Line W-36” cross in different age groups: 37-47, 47-57 and 72-81 days. After monitoring period poultry were given water with “SOMI VET” within 3 days in dose – 57g per 1000 l of water. Efficiency of “SOMI VET” drug was evaluated according to degree of display of respiratory system disorders and mortality of poultry in different researches periods. Results and their discussion. After application of “SOMI VET” drug to poultry clinical signs of infectious laryngotracheitis disappeared. Before application of drug mortality of poultry aged 37-39 days was 21, 47-49 days – 9, 72-75 days – 13 heads. During period after drug application decreasing was 16, 4 and 7 heads respectively. So mortality of poultry of different age groups decreased by 24%, 56% and 46% respectively. Young deaths decreasing indicates on increasing of viability that make poultry stock more preserved. Application of “SOMI VET” for replacement young with drinking water within 3 days promote to increasing of poultry mass. Also deviations between actual and regulatory mass of replacement young chicken of relevant groups decreased and herd homogeneity increased. Conclusions. “SOMI VET” drug after its application to chicken young of “Hy-Line W-36” cross in different age groups eliminate display of clinical signs of infectious laryngotracheitis (chronic form), poultry mortality decrease by 24-56% as is deviations between actual and regulatory poultry mass of relevant age groups, herd homogeneity increase.
