A new type of immune biosensor was proposed based on ion-sensitive field-effect transistor (ISFET) with CeOx insteand of Si3N4 gate surface, which promotes the sensitivity and stability of the analysis. This biosensor was used for the determination of Salmonella typhimurium in the model solutions. It was demonstrated that the sensitivity of the analysis of salmonella was about 2–3 cells/mL with the maximal response up to 5×105 cells/mL. It was concluded that electrochemical signal registration using ISFET based on CeOx gate surface satisfy the demands of cheap immune biosensor creation for detection of bacterial contamination in the environment.
