The features of manifestation of agricultural risks are summarized and the objective necessity of its reinsurance is defined. Domestic insurance pools in the field of agriculture in the context of its tasks of reinsurance of agricultural risks are characterized. Alternative methods of reinsurance are considered and prospects of its use in Ukraine are determined.
