Methods and technologies for teaching foreign languages in higher school

The position of the English language in Ukraine and the world as the leading means of international communication is associated primarily with the rapid development of high information technologies, the economy, and the signing of agreements with the EU. This strengthens the motivation of students to learn English as the main language of interstate communication, the language of scientific research, business, politics, and trade.
Studying a foreign language is hard to come up something new. However, with the help of modern technologies, it is possible to increase the efficiency of already known methods in teaching students of technical specialties.
The undoubted fact is that our state needs highly qualified specialists who are capable of establishing business contacts and business cooperation with foreign partners, professionals who speak a foreign language at a professional level, and all of this should be reflected in the working curricula of leading educational establishment. Today, a foreign language is not just a part of the culture of a certain nation, but also the key to the success of students' future successful careers. Achieving a high level of proficiency in a foreign language is impossible without fundamental language training in higher education. It is important for a teacher to know the newest methods of teaching a foreign language, special teaching techniques and techniques in order to optimally select and use one or another teaching method in accordance with the level of knowledge, needs and interests of students. After all, a rational and motivated use of teaching methods in practical classes of a foreign language requires a creative approach on the part of the teacher, because "pedagogy is science and art at the same time, therefore, the approach to the choice of teaching methods should be based on the creativity of the teacher."
