Influence of phytopathogenic bacteria and their lipopolysaccharides on wheat callus cells

Abstract

It was shown the effect of inactivated cells and lipopolysaccharide of the causative agent of basal bacteriosis of wheat Pseudomonas syringae pv. atrofaciens on the proliferation of wheat callus cells. It was established that inactivated cells and LPS of P. syringae pv. atrofaciens in doses of 0,4 % and 0,5 % showed physiological activity in reducing cell viability in callus culture by 89,5-93,6 % and increasing the activity of peroxidase. It was shown the possibility of using LPS as a selective factor for the selection of resistant wheat lines.
