Abstract

Animal productivity under full feeding reaches a high level only when creating a microclimate that meets their biological needs. A decrease in animal mass gain due to an uncomfortable microclimate not only reduces the coefficient of feed energy utilization, but also leads to an increase in the fattening period, additional lighting of premises, prolongs the operation time of technological equipment, underproduction of products on occupied production areas, etc.

Comfortable microclimate parameters (temperature, relative humidity and air velocity, as well as the temperature of surrounding surfaces), at which the production of livestock products is most economical, can have different values depending on the age, mass and breed of animals, the energy content of feed, the thermal insulation properties of the strip and the behavior of animals.

The solution to this problem lies in the plane of mathematical modeling of the processes of thermal comfort formation. During the construction of models, the animal is considered as a complex biological self-regulating system, in which the boundary conditions of heat and mass exchange are determined by the physiological laws of homeostasis, and external heat transfer is subject to the classical laws of phenomenological thermodynamics.

The purpose of the study is to determine the energy efficiency of the microclimate system by determining the optimal modes of the air conditioning system, creating new types of it, the use of which will allow saving fuel, energy and material resources.

The solution to this problem is possible through the use of a mathematical model of the system for forming thermal comfort in livestock premises.

During the construction of models, the animal is considered as a biological regulated system, where the formation of boundary conditions of heat and mass exchange is determined by biological laws, and external heat transfer is subject to the physical laws of heat and mass transfer and can be described with their help.
